この製品は、デニムジャケットが労働着からカジュアルウエアとなる過渡期の1953年に作られたTYPE-II/タイプ2(通称 2nd セカンド)のデザインをベースに、オールドアメリカンスタイルの要素を随所に再現しつつも、シュガーケーンによってタウンユース用にアレンジされたデニムジャケットです。ビンテージワークウェアの無骨でクラシックなディテールは残しながら、シュガーケーンオリジナルの14.25オンス日本製エイジング加工デニム生地を使用して、カジュアルのテイストをプラスした街着として洗練されたファッショナブルなデザインに仕上げられています。
シルエットは、胸回りがタイトすぎずルーズすぎない適度な身幅で、着丈が短めに設定されたアメカジスタイルのレギュラーフィットスタイルで、スタイリッシュにご着用いただけますように仕上げられています。Tシャツなどのライトレイヤーからパーカーやスウェットなどのヘビーレイヤーまで、様々なレイヤリングに対応できる快適なサイジングです。
素材はコットン100%の14.25オンスデニム生地です。厚すぎず、薄すぎない適度な肉厚の着心地の良いデニムです。このデニムジャケットには、エイジジング加工により、愛着をもって着込んだときに浮かび上がるアタリや、時間がそだててくれたフェード感が再現されています。デニムの経年変化の魅力を再現して、購入時からヴィンテージさながらの風合いを楽しむことができるエイジドモデルです。
裏地の付いていない単衣ものライトアウターで、春先から秋口まで軽く羽織れ、年間を通して、幅広く着用できるアイテムです。
フロントは5つボタンによる開閉式です。フロントボタンにはロゴ刻印入りのアンティーク加工のオリジナル鉄製メタルボタンが使用されています。フロント前立て裏にはセルビッチが配されています。
ポケット数は2つです。フロント両身頃にボタン付きのフラップポケットが設けられています。
袖口はリベット補強カフスリット(スリーブプラケット)付きの1つボタン(シングルボタン)留めカフス仕様です。
腰の両サイドには絞り調整用のボタン留めのアジャスターが付けられています。
フロントのボックスステッチ留めダブルアクションプリーツ、背中のバックプリーツで運動性も考慮されています。

This denim jacket is made in Japan and produced by Sugar Cane from Toyo Enterprises. The construction pattern of this jean jacket is modeled after iconic vintage clothing second edition 1953 Type II (Type 2) Jackets with classic design, but this denim trucker jacket has been re-designed with the Sugar Cane"s brand own detailing, contemporary interpretation and modernize fit for a more casual look and fashion purpose. The beauty of this piece is the balance of classic construction and modern updates from Sugar Cane. Made of a 100% cotton, non-stretch, 14.25 Oz. medium-weight Japanese selvage pre-faded denim woven with rope dyed indigo yarns in the warp and natural yarns in the weft. And then, this denim jacket has been processed to recreate the look of faded denim, natural feel wear marks, creasing, timeworn seams, and subtle scuffs, that comes with affectionately wearing it over time. It"s an aged model that allows you to enjoy a vintage-like texture right from the time of purchase, capturing the charm of denim"s natural aging process. This denim jacket is pre-washed (one-washed) in the finishing process. Pre washed, minimal shrinkage. With repeated wear and washing, the surface of the denim will have more hairy fibers for old-fashioned look as vintage denim. And this Sugar Cane denim jacket features a front closure with five metal buttons, front and back yoke, stitched-down double pleats on front, pointed fold-down style collar, twin flap chest pockets with a button closure, rear side pleats, single button cuff, and buttoned tabs on both sides of back hem. This outerwear is unlined/unfilled and can be worn year-round, especially in spring and fall. This jacket is new original creations by Sugar Cane from Toyo Enterprises.

Lining and Interlining (Type of insulation ) : Unlined, single-ply, No fill, No inside padding, Suitable for all year round, especially in spring and fall.
Placket type : 5 buttons on front opening. Buttons are antique finished custom engraved iron buttuns for fade and a broken-in appearance and vintage look. The buttons are a notable feature, with a silver-tone finish that has an aged look, complementing the jacket"s vintage aesthetic.
Collar : Shirt-style turn-down point collar.
Pocket : Two chest pockets with flaps. The flaps on the chest pockets have button closures. No hand pockets.
Cuff type : Single button cuff. Cuff slit with rivet reinforcement. Sleeve placket ( cuff slits ) let you take the jacket off and put it on easily.
Other details : Leather patch applied to lining. Waist adjusters on both sides of back hem. Buttoned side tabs (Both sides of the hem come with side button adjusters, allowing the wearer to adjust the fit). Stitched-down double pleats (that can be released for more room) on front. knife pleats on the back to allow for ease of movement and comfort. Since this item is indigo-dyed, it"s prone to crocking, or color transfer, so wear (and wash) it with dark colors till it"s worn in.
